All these men basically had sedentary jobs, but they differed in the amount of leisure time they spent on physical actions. Men who expended at least 2,000 kilocalories per week on physical exercise had solely half the death fee from heart illness as did these men who expended less than 500 kilocalories per week. Not all of this power was spent in exercise packages; some was expended during routine activities similar to climbing stairs.
